Research

I am a PhD student in mathematics at the University of Vienna and the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6). My main interests are analysis and differential geometry, and the interplay between both fields. In my PhD thesis I deal with low regularity metric structures in the context of general relativity. My PhD advisors are James Grant and Philippe LeFloch.

For a generally understandable description of my work you are invited to read some press articles (in German) based upon my work.

Apart from pure mathematics I am also interested in mathematical problems in geosciences. You can read more about my research in mathematical geology.
